Newsletters/Packets
The Academy distributes newsletters and/or packets during the year to help parents stay informed about current events, Year End Performance & other information at the Academy. Parents are encouraged to visit the waiting area for class viewing and information updates, posted for your convenience.

Enrollment
The Academy's class sizes are limited to ensure proper instruction to every student. Class size varies with class level. Each class must maintain an enrollment of at least 6-8 students (depending on class), or it may be cancelled at the discretion of the Academy. Early enrollment is encouraged to ensure a space in class and also to ensure that the class will run.

Attendance
Students are allowed only 6 absences per year, per class. After February 1, only 3 absences will be permitted. If student misses more than allowed absences a parent conference may be necessary. Consistent attendance is critical to progress in all classes. Classes progress as a group. Choreography progresses as a group. Absences slow a student's progress and will keep them from advancing with their class members. It is essential that students arrive on time for classes. Late arrival does not allow time for sufficient warm-up and can cause injuries, and also disrupts class concentration. Leaving class early is also a determent to progress and is disrespectful to others. Dancers will only be permitted to leave class early for an emergency. Please call & inform the Academy when your child will be absent @ 603.924.8844

Awards
The Academy recognizes students for continuous study with 5 & 10 years, and graduating senior awards. Perfect Attendance Awards are earned by attending the class registered for, every week, all year. Make up classes for missed classes DO NOT qualify towards perfect attendance. Classes cancelled by the Academy do not count against a students attendance record. Sign up sheets for awards are posted in the spring.

Weather / Class cancellations
Cancellations are announced on MPAA's answering machine by 2 pm. Saturday classes by 8:00am. Also posted on WMUR Channel 9 on the bottom ticker (for businesses & private organizations).

Class "Make Up" Policy

("Make Up" classes do not qualify towards attendance awards.) All Make Up classes must be completed prior to May 15th, of given year.
