Dance Class Etiquette
• Respect for teachers & fellow students at all times.
• No talking in dance class.
• Be on time, no leaving early.
• No gum chewing or food allowed in studios.
• Remove all jewelry.
• Adhere to dress code.
• No street shoes in studios at any time.
• Throw trash in receptacle provided.

Class Level Placement
Teacher will recommend when a student
should proceed to the next level.


La Petite Dance: Age 3

Creative Dance: Ages 4 & 5

Combo Classes: Ages 6 & 7

(student must be of correct age by September 15 of any given year.)

Level 1: 8 yrs. & up.
The beginner. Students remain in this level
until they reach a degree of competency with the basic material
taught at this level.


Level 2:
This level assumes a students ability to correctly execute
material learned in level 1, working for speed, complexity, and
accuracy, as well as proper technique.


Level 3:
These classes become more difficult, requiring both
technical ability and strength, and again assuming the students
ability to correctly execute the materials in levels 1&2 with
proper technique.


Levels 4, 5, 6:
Advanced classes, permission of instructor required
to enroll.


Please note:
A Ballet class is required of all level 3 & above Jazz, Tap & Modern Dancers.
A Ballet class is strongly recommended for all Musical
Theatre Students and for students at every level, as it is the
foundation of all dance styles and helps develop beautiful strong
dancers with proper placement, clean line and solid technique.
